I’m working on a new quilt, and the inspiration for it is the scenery of northern Wisconsin.  A while ago we spent some time near Hayward Wisconsin (home of the Lumberjack World Championships), and I loved the peaceful lakes with their lily pads and reeds.

Here are some of the photos I took during our trip.  In my quilt I’ve tried to capture some of the different colors as the light changes during the day.
